Our Program

Day time

 

Sunday – Day 1

Orientation Activities get to know the other campers

 

Monday – Day 2

Discover the quaint former fishing village of Queenscliff.  This is in the form of a short bike ride along the Bellarine Rail Trail, then a team challenge to find and discover the interesting facts and tastes of the town.

 

Tuesday – Day 3

We travel by car ferry across beautiful Port Philip Bay to Sorrento. We then drive to the Enchanted Adventure Park.

This park will provide a day of thrills and excitement as you try all of the high ropes in the tree tops.

There are also mazes, down hill slopes on rubber tubes, beautiful gardens and more.

Wednesday – Day 4

Enjoy a swim and boogie boarding in the cool waters of Port Phillip Bay (we do have wet suits for those not so brave!)

Other activities include canoeing (weather permitting), and a bike ride to nearby Pt Lonsdale.

Finish the day learning how to play Aussie Rules football. This is different to any other ball game you will have ever seen!

Thursday – Day 5

Travel by bus to Geelong, then train to the centre of Melbourne - the capital city of Victoria.

A free day to see the sights of Melbourne hit the shops.

There is plenty to do in the capital city of Victoria.

 

Friday – Day 6

A cruise on Port Phillip Bay. This is educational and fun as you zip around the bay.

In the afternoon you will prepare for the world famous "Miss Camp Koala" quest and the "Koala X Factor" concert

 

Saturday – Day 7

Pack up & farewells Pack up & farewells

Night time

Sunday – Night 1

Informal welcome, flag ceremony and introduction.

 

Monday – Night 2

Indoor Olympic Games

Tuesday – Night 3

A quiet night after a big day out!

Wednesday – Night 4

Bush dance (indoors!!). Dance the way our pioneers did.

Thursday – Night 5

Another quiet night after an even bigger day out in the big city of Melbourne

Friday – Night 6

The most fun night at camp!!

The "Camp Koala has Talent” Concert (the campers take to the stage)

NOTE

The evening program includes the campers from each country joining together to give a presentation on their home country, town or city. We have 2 or 3 countries present each night. This is always a great way to learn more about other countries and cultures. Always very good!
